Kara no Kyoukai
Haven’t been posting much lately have I? Well, that’s ok I guess. I only finished my classes last week.
I’ve been watching the series of movies (lol?) called Kara no Kyoukai.

It’s from Type- Moon, the same studio that made Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime.I’ve always been their fan since Tsukihime, but I admit that the Fate route in the FSN game made me feel a little disappointed.I liked the characters, but the whole thing seemed to be so hollow (except for the Heaven's Fell route. I'm not a fan of Sakura, but I think her route was the best.)
I mean, where was the wonderful psyche exploration that I saw a thousand times in their previous game?Nasu showed me that he could excell in that, but Fate? The main route is very boring, the second route is all about Archer and the last one is the only one that we can tell that Type-Moon did it.Besides, Shirou must be the worst protagonist in the history of AVG…
So, after my bitter experience with Fate/Stay Night (And I can’t say that Hollow Ataraxia got my mood up. It was nice, yes, but not the kind of thing that really goes into you) I decided to leave my type-moon obsession dormant.
But then, they started to serialize Kara no Kyoukai.
And oh myGod.
It was…wonder full.
First thing I noticed were the graphics. I think I never saw an anime with better graphics then this one.The background art is so texturized you can almost feel the scenery.

Maybe I’ll try cosplaying her one day
The story, the character development…Everything! And I must admit that I enjoyed the non-linear narration. The fifth movie makes my head spin just by watching it, but gee, I love every single minute of it!
I won’t be telling much of the story. I don’t want to spoil all the fun.
Oh yes, and this AMV...www.youtube.com/watch
With Kara no Kyoukai Type-Moon redeemed itself, and it made me remember; I am, and always will be a Type-Moon fag.
Case Closed.
